Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name Rice directly, posted a series of photos on social media that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. She stated the person involved was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with the football player, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.
Police Reports Currently Not on File
No official complaints were available in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place.
Player's Recent Legal Issues
The receiver missed the initial part of this season following an NFL suspension for his involvement in causing a crash on a Dallas highway that left multiple people injured. Rice was given 30 days in jail and probationary supervision after entering a guilty plea to serious offenses.
On the field, Rice finished the year with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five TDs as the Chiefs went 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
